Early voting is now open for the Primary Election. All you have to do is bring your photo ID to your local county election office and request either a Republican or Democratic ballot.
Early voting is relatively new in Missouri, so a lot of people may not be familiar with it. That’s why it is important we let our Union brothers and sisters know that they don’t have to wait until Primary Day on August 6 – they can vote right now.
Before voting, research your options to see where candidates stand on issues important to working families. Do they support Republican bills to enact so-called Right-to-Work laws, legislation that would shrink our paychecks and take away our bargaining rights?
Do they support the Republican’s extreme ban on reproductive rights that has put birth control and IVF at risk? If voters repeal this extreme ban in November, do these candidates pledge to uphold the will of the voters and to stop attacking reproductive rights?
All these issues and more will be decided by Missourians who show up and vote. Make sure you are one of them. And thank you for ensuring Union voices are heard at the ballot box.
