Last month, I wrote about Project 2025, the governing blueprint written by top advisors to Donald Trump that has been promoted by his spokesperson and campaign. This week I want to look at a specific section of this plan that would be horrible for older Missourians.
In order to pay for its additional tax cuts for the wealthy, Project 2025 would raise America’s retirement age to 70 years old, which means that people would not be able to draw their Social Security until they turn 70.
