The 29th Annual Craig Whitaker Memorial Aetna Capital Electric Construction Pipefitters Local 533 IBEW Local 124 Golf Tournament featured good weather, great networking and excellent golf at Eagles Landing Golf Club in Belton. Photos can be found at https://www.flickr.com/photos/labormanagementkc/.
The winning foursome was Pipefitters Local 533 with a team of Chuck Roseburrough, Tom Bradish, Kevin Bradish and Alan Davis. A very close second place was earned by JE Dunn Construction and third place went to Stephens-Heffner Financial Partners. The Longest Drive prize went to Cat Buasri, JE Dunn Construction team, with Brett Miller, Stephens-Heffner Financial Partners, nailing the Nearest to the Pin prize.
Sponsors, players, in-kind donors and volunteers were responsible for the tournament’s success. The tournament is one way the LMC meets its mission of enhancing collaboration by solidifying trust and communication between labor and management in the community by providing relationship-building opportunities and generating funds for the LMC. The tournament is named for its founder, Craig Whitaker, a longtime LMC Board member.
